- Examples of what to post this week would be a UV snapshot of your current UV, a screenshot of your UV + checker pattern applied to your model to show distortion, or WIP of your model's textures
- Showing your textures or even concept art of your textures is a good way to get artistic advice on the look of your character
- Take a look at your peers’ WIP posts on Piazza and comment on at least 3 with constructive feedback (the earlier this is done after WIPs are due, the more helpful it is to your classmates)
- Go to the theater page and watch some videos
- Watch the tutorial on uv mapping
Deliverable
Due Monday Feb 26, 11pm
- Finish your mesh and UV maps. Start texturing
- Creating a good UV map is essential to how your textures will lay on your model. Be very diligent with this part especially!
- Upload a .mb file to Box, as well as a screenshot of your model
- Naming Convention(IMPORTANT!): <andrewID>_asst<assignment #>_v<version #>.<file format>
